Mary Luella Payton

Mary Luella Payton was born April 14, 1948 in Monett, Missouri. She passed away November 25, 2015 in Plano, Texas after a brief illness. Mary Luella was raised in Lubbock, Texas as an only child and she attended Texas Tech University. She married David Wayne Payton and they had one child. Mary Luella loved and collected Barbie's over the years. Another hobby she enjoyed was NASCAR racing. She was a very loving and caring person who would give you the shirt off her back. Anyone who knew her well would use and understand some of the following words to describe Mary Luella; strong, smart, generous and devoted friend. She will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Christa Luella Martin and Matthew William Martin, grandchildren Savanah Luella Payton and Cameron Richard Martin, one great grandson Cale William Gerrald. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Allen Family Funeral Options, followed by a reception.
