Jacob Rios

Jacob Alexander Rios was born June 2, 2002 in Allen, Texas to parents Joe Diaz and Cassandra Rios. Jacob passed away September 9, 2015. He was a 13 year old boy who was and continues to be very special. He was passionate about caring for others; anyone and everyone, but especially his sister Alexis and two cousins Emma and Nana, who were his desire to live. He enjoyed his cousins and loved to be around babies. Some of his favorite past times were to work with his grandpa, playing with his low rider cars and drawing. Jacob liked to take things apart and put them back together; such as his bikes and cars. Jacob had a couple of fears and they were dogs of any size and going to see the doctor. He loved A&D hot wings and lemon pepper; of course with a Big Red soda to drink. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, even though he often told jokes about them. Jacob is survived by his father Joe Diaz and mother Cassandra Reyes, brothers Manuel Torres, III and Jason Diaz, sister Alexis Rios, paternal grandparents Jose Benjamin Diaz and Dora Ramirez, maternal grandparents Roberto Granados and Sylvia Cuellar, aunt and uncles Georgina Rios, Sergio Pena, Jr. and Thomas Pena. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Chase Oaks Church, 201 Legacy Dr., Plano, Texas. The funeral service to celebrate Jacobs's life will begin at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow. Jacob will be laid to rest at Pecan Grove Cemetery, McKinney, Texas.
