Perry Moore Jr

Perry Clay Moore, Jr. was born on June 10, 1960 in Tacoma Park, Maryland to parents Perry Clay Moore, Sr. and Peggy Jo Moore. He passed away on June 29, 2015. Perry was a truly selfless servant of God. His contribution to others will be the legacy that others will continue to remember. His commitment to character and the many seeds he has sown in others will continue to flourish. He grew up around Division 1 Universities and the world of Athletics. From Maryland, to Florida, Colorado, California and Texas he had the opportunity to experience and participate in much. A good athlete participating in football and numerous sports throughout his life.
Along with Perry's passion for people and remembering about them what most did not, he loved the water. A licensed swimming instructor, scuba instructor and Yacht Captain allowed him to experience many places in the world. Professionally his service to others developed his career into restaurant ownership. He was educated in the culinary and restaurant business in New York which contributed to his ownership of restaurants in California and Texas. Texas was good to Perry with the gift of his son Clay and his incredible love for his wife Marie.

He is survived by his loving wife Marie Johnson Moore, son Clay Brandon Moore, father Perry Clay Moore, Sr., mother Peggy Jo Sherrow Davis and her husband Dan, sister Pamela Jo Busiek and her husband George, step-brothers Dr. Matthew Davis and Dr. Brian Davis, mother in law Janice Wack, niece and nephews Jamie Jo Hayes, Matthew and David Busiek, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will recieve friends at a visitation on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Allen Family Funeral Options. A funeral service to celebrate Perry's life will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Faith Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas 75093 with Pastor Neal Jeffrey officiating.
