Ronald Uppstrom

Ronald Philip Uppstrom, age 74, of Prosper, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2015, at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas. He was born on August 7, 1940 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Lennart and Ruth Uppstrom. Upon graduating from high school, Ronald served his country in the Unites States Air Force for 24 years, with his last years of service at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas. After his military retirement, he worked 18 years for the U.S. Postal Service in San Angelo.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Masako Uppstrom; daughter Linda Kirby and son-in-law Scott Kirby of Prosper, Texas;grandchildren Maegan, Mia, and London Kirby of Prosper, Texas;brother Kenneth Uppstrom and sister-in-law Fran Uppstrom of Brookeland, Texas; sister Carol Norwood and brother-in-law George Norwood of Worcester, Massachusetts and many loving friends and family. Ronald is preceded in death by his son Paul Uppstrom.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00am at Calvary Cemetery in San Angelo.
