Landon loved trucks, cars, and motorcycles. For him, remotes or phones were the best inventions ever. He could reprogram a complicated remote or download games on a phone in less than a minute. Passwords were no barrier.
Landon loved to tell jokes. "Do you know what's in my car? Seats"
When Landon would pray he would ask God to bless the walls, dogs, bugs, dishes, and anything else he could think of. He could pray for days. And don't interrupt his prayer - he would start over again from the beginning.
Landon did not like for drawers or doors to be left open. He would make sure someone closed them if he was unable to reach them.
When Dad would get home he would say "tell me about your day." Dad would tell Landon all about his day. And Landon would say "and then?" over and over.
One of Landon's favorite things was riding in Dad's truck. He loved to have Dad blow all the horns on the truck, city horn, air horn, and train horn. His favorite was the train horn. He would have the biggest smile when he was riding with Dad.
Landon would tell you "Dad knows everything".
Landon was totally independent. He would tell you "I do it myself". He did not accept that he was not big enough to do everything Dylan, Cameron, and Saryn could do.
Landon had a very expressive face. There was never any doubt when something had upset him or made him mad. The eyes would draw together and the frown was very deep.
Even though he was independent, he was very affectionate and a cuddler. He would snuggle up in your lap, wanting you to hold him. Napping with Landon was a snuggly treat.
Landon's eyes were most expressive - he had wonderful long eyelashes and big beautiful eyes. You knew he had done something wrong when he would come up and flash those beautiful eyes at you like he knew it would keep him out of trouble.
Landon loved his bike, the xBox, going to the park. He also loved gum. He loved his toys, especially his trucks. He would lift the back of the big green John Deere truck and ride on it.
Landon loved hats and sunglasses. He wore a plaid driving cap every day to Nannie with the cats' house. He would get dressed in clothes that did not match and wear his cowboy boots. He wanted to be a cowboy.
To quote Landon, "it's just heaven. What's the big deal?" We know that he is up in heaven asking that now.
Landon is survived by his dad Jeromy Smith, mom Danyelle Smith, siblings Dylan, Cameron, Saryn and Brianna Smith, paternal grandparents Peggy Fincher and husband John, Mark Smith and wife Sandra and maternal grandparents Brenda Babb and husband Gerald and Linda Gibson and husband Tom.
