Mark Carlile was born October 18, 1963 in Kermit, Texas to parents John and Lola Carlile. He grew up in Lubbock, Texas and was the youngest of four boys. Mark and his family survived the Lubbock tornado of 1970. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mark worked for Lockheed Engineering in Houston from 1987-1989 where he analyzed and tested space shuttle crew escape systems for NASA. He was a co-inventor for three patents. In 1993 Mark married Yvonne Gutierrez in Plano, Texas. They moved to Carrollton, Texas and were living there when their two sons were born; Winston in 1995 and Maxwell in 1999. Mark said these were the two happiest days of his life. The family attended and were members of First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Mark obtained his Professional Engineer license in 2002 and also earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas that same year. Mark always made time to help coach his sons soccer teams and enjoyed watching all of their sporting events. The family moved to Plano in 2007 and became members of Hunters Glen Baptist Church. Mark passed from this life into eternity on April 2, 2015. He is survived by his wife Yvonne, sons Winston and Max, mother Lola Carlile, brothers Lee Carlile and wife Cindy, Barry Carlile and wife Barbara and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father John Carlile and brother Larry Carlile. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Allen Family Funeral Options, Plano, Texas. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Road, Plano, Texas with Trevor Carpenter officating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
