Jack Rohwer

Jack Stephen Rohwer, 14 passed away March 30, 2015 in McKinney, Texas. He was born June 15, 2000
at 8:26 pm in Dallas, Texas to parents Jim and Rebecca (Lagos) Rohwer
Jack, a freshman at Prosper High School loved his school and his lifelong
classmates. Jacks' passions included watching his Vancouver Canucks with his
dad, confiding and playfully conspiring with his best friend and sister Sydney
Kate. He idolized and looked up to his big brother - his Bubman, Chris.
Jack played right wing for McKinney Jr. Varsity Gold, "The Squad" as Jack so
lovingly referred to them. With his Prosper buddies, he enjoyed fishing and
hunting - so many seasons, so many ducks. Jack's sense of humor was beyond
his age - similar to his mother's. He wrote elaborate stories and
brought joy to all around him. Jack also spent his days working diligently
on his school work, playing his heart out on the hockey rink, and crashing
out with his friends. Without a doubt, Jack positively touched the lives of
countless people and he will be forever etched in the loveliest places of
our hearts. Jack is survived by his parents Jim Rohwer, of Prosper and Rebecca Lagos
Rohwer of McKinney; his brother Chris, of Garland and his sister Sydney, of
Prosper/Mckinney. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Jack and Cecilia
Lagos, of Plano and his paternal grandmother, Judy Wright, of Bellingham,
Washington. Also surviving are uncles and aunts Bob & Marcie Rohwer of
Snohomich, Washington, Billy & Jessica Rohwer of Everett Washington, Jeff Lagos, Matt
Lagos, Mary Lagos, and Jennifer Lagos, cousins Ellen Sontra, Carrie Rohwer,
Kaylee, Rohwer, and Sammie Rohwer
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Allen Family
Funeral Options, Plano, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:00 am at
First United Methodist Church Frisco, 7659 Preston Rd. Frisco, Texas 75034.
