Douglas Iselt

Douglas Wayne Iselt was born February 20, 1958 to parents Norris and Betty Iselt and he was baptized as a baby at Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. Doug graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1976. He was a very hard worker in the family business, Iselt Drywall from the time he graduated until 1988 when he was stricken with disabling diseases, Diabetes and Renal failure. He was on dialysis for the last 10 years until his death on March 10, 2015. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved listening to his radio. He had fond memories of his pets and always gave 100% to everything; whether it was work or play. Doug was married for 9 years to Carla Trees and they joyfully welcomed their only child Autumn Melinda Iselt on November 24, 1982. Doug leaves behind many loved ones who will miss him greatly. Daughter Autumn Melinda Iselt, parents Norris and Betty Iselt, sister Gwen Tubbs and her husband Kerry, brother Darrell Iselt and nephew Brian Iselt, there are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 6-8:00 PM at Allen Family Funeral Options with Words of Remembrance spoken at 7:00 PM. Doug will be laid to rest Friday, March 13, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
