Alice Tucker

Alice Elizabeth Shaddy McBeeTucker was born on September 3, 1926 in Ft. Worth, Texas to parents James George Shaddy and Alice Hattie Hill. She graduated Valedictorian from Lake Worth High School, Class of 1943. Alice worked for years as a secretary at Armour's and was also a secretary at Brewer High School . A 55 year resident of White Settlement, Alice moved to McKinney in 2004 to be near her family. She was married to two wonderful men, William Harold McBee in March of 1949 and to Hershel J. Tucker in June of 1974. She is survived by her son, James Harold McBee and his wife Linda of Plano, Texas, granddaughters Sarah Rose Spivey and her husband Sundance of Boulder Creek, Colorado and Emily Elizabeth Duncan and her husband Shane of Plano, Texas. Also surviving is one great granddaughter, Alice Rose Duncan, age 2. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Christ Church Plano, 4550 Legacy Drive, Plano, Texas 75074. Alice will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Texas.
