Rusty Hutchison

Rusty Hutchison was born on March 30, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to parents Jesse Everett Hutchison and Billie Jean Wright Hutchison.
He played Coronet in the Richardson High School Band and graduated in 1972. He started the Sigma Nu Chapter at Southern Methodist University was a 1976 graduate.
Rusty went to work for Roadway right after college for a couple of years and then
started his own business, Appraisal Consultation Group and worked for over 35 years in the industry.
Rusty met his wife, Denise Brandt while working in the same office building and they married on December 5, 1992. Their first child Everett was born on March 18, 1996 and a second child, Rebecca was born on October 8, 1999. The special family pet Sawyer was born on September 18, 2006 and passed away on January 14, 2015. The family moved to Melissa, Texas on the first of August in 2009 and has felt Melissa to be "home" ever since. Rusty loved to sail and bike, he enjoyed being outdoors; especially in the mountains and white water rafting. He enjoyed music, gardening and farming. The family loved the sport of hockey and Everett played for 14 years. Rusty will be fondly remembered as a great husband, father and friend. He was funny, handsome, playful, a "big tease" and had a great laugh. He had a big lap for his family and pets to sit on, often all at the same time. Rusty passed from this life into eternity on February 5, 2015. Rusty is survived by his wife Denise, children Everett and Rebecca, aunts Judy Reneau and Katholeen Harris, uncle Weldon Wright, mother in law Jeanne Brandt, brother and sister in law Michael and Carol Brandt, sister in law Nicole Brandt, nephews Jonathan Brandt and Spencer Hall and niece Cynthia Herbert.
A memorial service to honor Rusty's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Melissa, 2101 E. Melissa Rd., Melissa, Texas 75454. If desired, the family request's donations be made to www.gofundme.com/hutchison
