Thomas Thornbrugh

Thomas Neal Thornbrugh, 61, of Plano Texas, finished his battle with ALS on November 28, 2014 as he passed away in the company of his closest friends and family. His last days stood as a testament to the faith that defined his life. Even in rapidly failing health, his trust in Christ remained strong and his character steadfast. Originally from Newton, Kansas, Tom attended Kansas State University, where he met his wife Jan and began their 34 year journey together. His career as an Air Traffic Controller spanned three decades and he built a thriving small business based on the same principles of integrity and dedication that he lived by every day. He is survived by his wife Jan, brother Steven, sons Grant and Garrett, daughter-in-law Laura and grandson Ashton. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options. Funeral services will be held in the Faith Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas 75093 on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
