Judy Bergeron

July 16, 1939 — November 26, 2014

Judy Kay Bergeron was born in Ames, Iowa on July 16, 1939 to parents Earl Carl and Naomi Mae Booth White. She worked as a claims adjuster in the insurance industry and enjoyed travelling with her sister Carla. Even though they were thirteen years apart in age, people would often ask if they were twins, as the years passed and they grew closer and closer. Judy loved the question, but Carla wasn't so sure, as Judy often would tease her about it. Judy was the kind of person who was always there for friends or family in good times as well as bad. She taught, by example, the art of perseverance. Laughter was a part of Judy's personality. Even though she claimed to have a weird sense of humor, she always had fun, laughed a lot and made sure those who were with her were having a good time as well. For all of those who knew and loved her, there will be a void in their lives and a hole in their heart, but the precious memories of Judy will live on forever. Judy passed from this life into eternity on November 26, 2014 in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her children Debbie McFarland and her husband Ron, David Bergeron and his wife Nicole and Dede Migliore and her husband Mike, grandchildren J.W. Brown, Michael Brown, Daniel Brown, Austin Bergeron, Taylor Bergeron, C.J. Bergeron, Lauren Migliore, Amanda Tate and Kylie Cabaniss, 12 great grandchildren, sister Carla Powell and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Donna Brownlee and a grandson Ryan Bergeron. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options. The family also respectfully requests that in lieu of floral remembrances, memorial contributions be made in Judy's name to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, or to Meals on Wheels Association of America, www.mowaa.org
