William (Bill) Donald Clinton was born on September 22, 1950 in Myrtle Point, Oregon to parents William Elton and Barbara Adams Clinton. Bill graduated from high school in 1968 and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Bill married Michael Beth Barclay in 1982 and they have enjoyed 32 wonderful years of marriage together. He loved Michael's 3 children and considered and raised them as if they were his own. They were blessed even more by having a daughter together to complete the family. The family moved to Texas in 1983, but Bill always loved his home state of Oregon. Bill was a loyal Oregon Ducks football fan, watching games every chance he could. He even would watch Oregon Beaver football. In addition to college ball, Bill enjoyed watching pro football and baseball and had a lot of fun golfing with his buddies. Friends were important to Bill and he made many over the years, eventually treating them as if they were family too. Many of his friends were those he worked with. Bill was employed in construction his entire professional life. His garage at home was his "man-cave". It was there he enjoyed having Sunday talks with his buddies across the alley. Sometimes those talks occurred every day, not just Sunday. Bill was good hearted and loved by all who knew him. He cherished time spent with family and especially enjoyed his kids, grandkids, brother and sister and their families. Bill passed away on November 4, 2014 in Plano, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife Michael Beth Clinton, children Scott Harkness and his wife Alicia, Brian Harkness, Jennifer Harkness, Kellie Duckworth and her husband Chad, grandchildren Julian, Joshua, Hannah, Jason and Annabelle Harkness, Courtnei Bannon, Jordan Simms, Dylan Chandler, Mackenzie Litton, Tristan, Levi, Jessica, Asha and Brandon Duckworth, great-grandchild Malisyn Gibson, siblings Judy Coon and her husband Alan, Terry Clinton and his wife Katie, and nieces and nephews Michael Clinton and his wife Christa, Nathan Clinton and Amy Clinton. The family will receive friends at Allen Family Funeral Options on Saturday, November 8, 2014 with words of remembrance delivered by Oscar McGinnis beginning at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will follow until 7:00 p.m.
