Christopher Lee Hughes, age 56, residing in Plano, Texas passed away on October 28, 2014. Chris was born to Bob and Lou Hughes on September 6, 1958 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and lived in Trenton until third grade when he moved to Margate, Florida. After graduating high school, he moved back to Trenton for a short while before heading to Lubbock, Texas working for Texas Instruments in the early 80's. He was transferred to Dallas where he met Carol, the mother of Ryan, Kailee, and Eric Hughes, while they both lived in the Village Apartments. Carol and Chris married in July of 1989.
Shortly after the wedding Chris finished his degree in electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas in May, 1992.
His first son, Ryan Hughes, was born in January 1993. Kailee and Eric (twins) were born five years later in 1998. Eric sadly passed away in March of 1999.
Chris was a sales engineer for Analog Devices Incorporated for the last 13 years.
He loved to play golf, watch the Michigan Wolverines and NASCAR races and was an avid music lover.
Chris was loved by his co-workers and all who met him.
He is survived by his mother Lou Hughes, his father Bob Hughes, his daughter Kailee, his son Ryan, Kailee and Ryan's mother Carol and his sister Kelly Spehar and her family.
Chris was preceded in death by his son Eric Hughes.
A memorial service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 3101 Coit Road, Plano, Texas 75075 on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 4:00 pm.
