Lisa Diane Ramirez age 26 was delivered into the arms of Jesus and all the angels and saints on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Lisa fought valiantly against Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) for the past six years.
Despite being diagnosed with PH in 2008, Lisa had an incredible love and zest for life. She was a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2010 where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development from the College of Agriculture. As a proud Aggie, she was a member of the Class Council and Alpha Zeta Honor Fraternity. Lisa was an avid sports fan and had a strong enthusiasm for her beloved Aggies, Rangers, Spurs, Saints, and Tigers. She loved the beach, outdoors, trips on the lake with her brothers and nephews, spa trips with the girls, and traveling with her mother or father with family to all corners of the globe. One of her favorite activities was enjoying BBQ cook outs and crawfish boils while listening to Texas country music with her family and friends.
She was the beloved daughter of Ms. Virginia Zepeda Ramirez and Mr. "Ramie" Ramirez and his wife Kathy. She leaves behind her brother Aaron Ramirez and his children Aaron Jr., Austin and Andres, brother Richard and his wife Victoria and their children Zachary and Amelia. Lisa Diane Ramirez will be remembered for her tender heart, courage, and beautiful smile.
A rosary and visitation will be held Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1914 Ridgeview, Allen, TX. A mass of the resurrection will be celebrated Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the church.
