Dennis Michael Schulz Jr

November 9, 1957 — May 2, 2014

Dennis Michael Schulz, Jr. was kind and patient. He never passed judgment and never held resentment, but was always self-sacrificing. Among other things, he was a great dad and always put his girls first. There wasn't a person he couldn't get along with and there wasn't a person who couldn't speak highly of him. He always looked to the future in a positive light and no matter the circumstances, saw the silver lining.
Dennis loved coffee, fishing, collecting mugs, reading and cooking. A library of books, a cabinet full of coffee mugs and his delicious baked goods are proof of this. If you have not had his cheesecakes, then you have not lived. He always offered to make it for everyone because he knew how good they truly are. He was an avid reader; Stephen King was amongst his favorite authors and we can all hope now that he is at peace and can fish as long and as much as he likes.
In his 56 years, he was a proud soldier, a great father, son, sibling, uncle and friend. He was the best confidante anyone could ask for. May Dennis Michael Schulz Jr. rest in peace and may he find happiness that he generously bestowed on so many people. We are very fortunate to have had him a part of our lives. He would want everyone to celebrate his life and not mourn his passing.
Dennis is survived by daughters Judy and Mariden Schulz, father Dennis M. Schulz, Sr. and his wife Mary, siblings Judy Coleman and her husband Tom, Karl Schulz, Anthony Schulz, Joey Schulz, Jason Schulz, Sara Reilly and Jennifer Pirtle and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jo Schulz and brother Chris Schulz.
