William Ray Pennington Jr

William Ray Pennington, Jr. was born September 8, 1928 in Edina, Missouri and passed away on February 8, 2014 in Allen, Texas at the age of 85. He was a caring, giving, and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Bill married the love of his life, Lois, on November 12, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri. They moved to Dallas in 1962. They also lived in Nacogdoches, Celina and Allen, Texas.

Bill was an avid reader, golfer and fisherman. Throughout life family was very important to him. He loved his dogs and always had one.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William Ray, Sr and Edna Pennington, brother Jim Pennington and son Scott Pennington.
He is survived by his loving wife Lois Pennington, children Debbie Pennington Patterson and her husband Eddie, Scott's wife Donna Pennington Ambrosia (has remarried to Joe), Dana Pennington Stryhal and her husband Bill, Clay Pennington and his wife Lisa. Grandchildren Mandy Haecker and husband Ben (Debbie's daughter), Kyle Pennington and wife Nicole, Emily Pennington and Katie Pennington (Scott and Donna's son and two daughters), Joe, Drake and Chase Stryhal (Dana and Bill's children), Chelsea, Chandler and Madison Pennington (Clay and Lisa's children), great-grandchildren Lyla Pennington (Kyle and Nicole's daughter), Caroline Haecker (Mandy and Ben's daughter).

A celebration of life service will be held at Trinity Bible Church on Saturday, February 22 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's name to Faith Presbyterian Hospice at http://www.prescs.org/support/donate
