Late Deacon Kevin Madu Aligah was born 53 years ago. He was born into the humble family of Late Chief Emmanuel Sunday Aligah and Late Mrs. Maria Nnenna Aligah of Ndiduwe Village in Ekpiri Osoaji, Autonomous Community, Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State in Nigeria.
His late father died on March 7, 1973 when Kevin was still in primary school. After his secondary school education and brief employment at Trebor Company Nigeria Ltd, Kevin earned a scholarship to further his education in Moscow, Russia. There, he graduated with a Master's degree in Finance before he came to the United States of America.
He was fluent in English and Russian languages, and received Award Certificates for three consecutive years from the Texas Department of Human Services, for excellent performance in Russian Language Translation. Kevin recently graduated from Dallas Baptist University, with another Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Information Technology. He took and passed the advanced Cisco certification exam. He was also a student of Invention Technology and Cognitive Neuro- Squatemetry. He had just accepted a position in Nigeria as an International Education Program Coordinator before he died.
Late Deacon Kevin Aligah owned and managed his own business, Affordable Computer Services. He was a seasoned Entrepreneur, a distinguished Management Information Technologist, a professionally qualified and technically competent Systems Engineer, and an experienced PC network consultant.
Late Deacon Kevin Aligah was a devote Christian. He loved Christ and reverenced God even till his last breath. He practically demonstrated the bible teaching, which says to teach a child the way to go and when he or she grows up, he will not depart from it. He taught his children to love, to fear, and to trust the Lord in all situations. He prayed with his family daily. Kevin loved people. He befriended a lot of people and rendered assistance where and when needed to all.
Late Deacon Kevin Aligah was a rare legend, a giant, a handsome gentleman, and the pride of his family. He was a lover of peace, an upright man of integrity, and a kind hearted child of God who positively touched the lives of several people. He was happily married to a very cheerful, kind hearted, industrious, virtuous, and beautiful lady. Mrs. Joy Ijeoma Aligah, Nee Nwabueze, from Uzuakoli Bende LGA, Abia State, Nigeria. Their marriage was blessed with three gorgeous and beloved children. (Two girls and one boy).
Late Deacon Kevin Aligah was very courageous and bold in the face of death. He was not afraid to die. He died on Friday, November 22, 2013 at UT Southwestern St Paul's Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He wished to be buried in America, close to his wife and children and he got it.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Joy Ijeoma Aligah, children Miss Michelle Nnenna Kevin- Aligah, Miss Grace Ogechi Kevin- Aligah, Master Samuel Chibuike Kevin- Aligah, brothers Mr. Matthew Uche Aligah, Mr. Anthony N. Aligah, Mr. Luke O. Aligah, sister Monica Ugonwanyi Okoro and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in- laws, other relations and many friends.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at Prestonwood Baptist Church, Dallas Campus, 12123 Hillcrest Rd., Dallas, Texas 75230. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.


The entire members of the family of Late Deacon Engineer Kevin Madumere Odikwauka Aligah (Alias Mighty) express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to each and every one of you for your devoted time, love, support and prayers which has contributed greatly in making this funeral ceremony a huge success.
We wish to thank you for taking the time and , making the effort to come and witness our loving husband, father, brother and friend off on his final glorious journey home, and to bid him farewell and a peaceful rest eternal. We know that you share our sense of irreparable loss and we pray that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and our Heavenly Father Comfort us all.
For many of you, it has been a long way to come. We pray that God in his loving kindness bless and reward you, and grant you journey mercies back to your respective destinations. In Jesus Name. Amen.
