Dan Henderson

May 11, 1955 — October 28, 2013

In Loving memory of Dan - some notes from his family:
Son Bryson: Dan's little buddy
"Dan Henderson, my beloved father, he was the joy of my life and the solider of my family. If something went wrong my dad was there to fix it. If someone got hurt he became a doctor. He was the one I looked up to, and the role model of my life. I will never know why he did this, but I can at least say he is in a better place and he is out of pain. He never will know how much I love him and how awesome of a man he was. My dad was an awesome man. May God rest his soul, and he rest in peace".
Daughter Melissa:
"My daddy was an amazing man. I was so blessed to be loved by him and to be his daughter. I will always be a daddy's girl and love that man so very much. I know that one day I will be alright as well as everyone else, and we will all one day be together again. As daddy would always say to me, "you know what I mean jellybean?""
Daughter Amie:
"My dad is and was a good man. Stubborn, strong-willed, sometimes a little pushy, but overall he was fun and goofy, kind and loving. He worked hard all his life to support his family, and he was loyal and protective. There are not enough words to truly express how much I miss him already, though I feel him in the universe around me, and I talk to him all the time. I love you, Dad".
Son Lucas:
"My dad was a good man and a great father. Despite his pain, he always managed to smile. My dad was more than my dad, he was also my friend. I love him so much and I will continue to make him proud. I know that he is with me wherever I go and that he will always still have my back".
Mom Carole:
"Dearest Dan, "Disappointment, grief and fear are gone. Sorrows forgot, love's purest joys restored. When change and tears are past, we shall someday meet and be together forever with the Lord." I shall miss you terribly, but I am filled with thanksgiving that you are with Jesus in our God's Heaven and your pain is over. Until we meet again. I love you, Mother"
Wife Anna:
"Dan, my friend and partner, thank you for sharing your life with me. Thank you for giving me wonderful children. Thank you for bringing me closer to the Lord and my understanding of God's character. You are truly a man that I respect and love. I cherish the time we had. Your leadership will be missednot forgotten. Love you now and for all eternity".
I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
