Ron J. Spatafora was born in Germany on September 24th, 1951.He was a military brat and loved it because he got to see the world and made new friends every 2 years. Ron graduated from Lakenheath in England and frequently commented on how much he missed the fish and chips. He went to Parks College and was in ROTC. While at Parks, he worked at a shop that repaired stereo and speakers. He said he learned more about electricity there than while in school. After College he went into the Air Force. He loved working on and flying planes. He even drove his car like a fighter pilot. One time, when out with friends, he took a corner on two wheels (in a van). He said he used one more wheel than he really even needed. He had a sense of humor that not everybody got, but he was very funny and his smile would warm your heart. As a close friend said, "his smile is contagious".
Ron's outlook on life was great. He was hard headed, kind hearted, and the sweetest man that would help anybody and would do anything for anybody.
He had a love for life and all the people around him. He truly had a heart of gold. He helped out numerous different people with their computer and electronic problems. He was always coming up with new designs for things and improving old ones. While Ron's passion was computers, electronics, planes and HAM radio, he was very smart and could fix anything and everything. Ron's many jobs in life included the U.S. Air Force, working on Learjet's, designing FLIRs, was President of his own company, Special Technologies, the Chief of Police for Parker, Texas and Manager at Radio Shack. His love for life gained him many friends across the world. His heart of gold made him an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. His sense of humor brightened everyone's day with a smile that would heal your heart. We will miss him. Ron passed from this life, much too soon on September 25, 2013 at the age of 62. He is survived by his wife Judy Spatafora, daughter Anita Knight, granddaughters Haley Jenniges, Victoria Talamantez, sister Jackie Spatafora (David), brother Jeff Spatafora and Ron's loving Chihuahua's Aggie and Ellie.
