Helen LeCompte Wallack was born March 4, 1927 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Horatio LeCompte Moore and Helen Marie Nichols Moore. Helen was a charming and gracious lady with a remarkable knack for putting people at ease and making friends everywhere she went. She loved to have a good time and was always ready to savor a good mystery novel, beautiful music and a movie with a happy ending. She enjoyed all sorts of games but especially playing bridge with her friends at the Conservatory. Most of all, she was an avid football aficionado who zealously followed both professional and college games. Upon first meeting a new friend, she would ask their home town and their favorite team (although not necessarily in that order). She relished the discussion that would ensue and delighted in placing a friendly bet - never more than a quarter - on the outcome of a game. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75023. Helen will be laid to rest following the mass at the columbarium at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and a reception will follow in the parish hall. We will miss her spirit and liveliness and her special gift of making friends. We know she continues to cheer for us along with her favorite teams. If desired, contributions may be made in Helen's name to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 3102 Maple Ave Ste 120, Dallas, Texas 75201, (214) 871-2222 or www.cff.org
