Wesley Van Pelt

Wesley (Wes) Walter Van Pelt was born December 21, 1916 in Lodi, New Jersey to parents Walter and Helena (Moll) Van Pelt. Wes passed away on August 16, 2013 in Frisco, Texas where he had retired. Wes was a business administrator for the school district in Paramus, New Jersey. He will be best remembered for his very gentle, kind hearted ways and a man who loved to play golf and travel. Wes had a heart for those who wanted to make positive changes in their life and helped in making dreams and goals happen. He cherished his wife Rita who preceded him in death and the special joys of his life were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by sons Jerry and wife Linda, Wesley and wife Barbara, step children Joe Harper and wife Lee, Chip Harper and wife Connie, Rosemary Harper, Kathy Wirth and husband Dennis, grandchildren Meredith and husband Jeffrey Tallo, Laura Baughman and husband Andrew, Rick Van Pelt and wife Chelley, Jill Isenberg and husband Joel, Joey Harper and wife Molly, Jennifer Harper, Christina Wirth, Denny Wirth, great grandchildren Morgan and Bradley Tallo, Lily and Abigail Baughman, Alex and Emma Van Pelt and Natalie and Daniel Isenberg, sister Maude Greef and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano, Texas with Chaplain Doyle Ives officiating. The family will have a visitation time following the service. Wes will be laid to rest with his wife Rita in Hudson, Florida.
