Kerry Stevens

March 16, 1975 — June 21, 2013

Kimberley Keren Wendt-Stevens went to the arms of Jesus on June 21, 2013 at the Plano Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1975 in Seoul, Korea and adopted at nine months of age by her parents Jerry and Linda Wendt. "Kerry" graduated from Belle Fourche High School in South Dakota and attended Sioux Falls College and graduated from Northern State University with a degree in music. She attended grad school at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Kerry worked at the VA hospital in Sturgis, South Dakota and then transferred to the VA in Nashville. She met the love of her life in Nashville and they were married on June 11, 2008 in Oahu, Hawaii ~ Mr. and Mrs. Rich Stevens. They made their home in Plano, Texas where Kerry worked at the Dallas Symphony Association Inc. in the Meyerson building. She and Rich loved volunteering their time at the North Teas Rabbit Sanctuary. Her great passions were her husband, music, friends and rescue bunnies. Kerry also loved the color red and had a flair for decorating their new home. Her gentle spirit, quiet faith in Jesus and love will be greatly missed. Welcome home Kerry ~ to your heavenly home. Kerry is survived by her devoted husband Rich, parents Jerry and Linda Wendt, brother Tim Wendt, sister Lynnea Lubben. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 5-7:00 PM at Allen Family Funeral Options, Plano, Texas. Words of comfort and remembrance will be shared at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held later in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.
