Edwin Earl Morris Jr

Edwin Earl Morris Jr. (Eddy) passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 after almost a year of battling cancer. Eddy was 58 years old. He was born in Dallas, Texas to parents Margaret Crossland Morris and Edwin Morris Sr. Like many born In Dallas Eddy and his father shared joy in watching the Cowboys on Sundays. While growing up alongside sisters Kathy Lloyd and Susan Pence he developed an intense curiosity for the world around him. He taught himself the Guitar and Drums and was heavily influenced by his favorite artist Eric Clapton. He aggressively read books and enjoyed crossword puzzles his whole life. After concluding his Lake Highlands High School years as a varsity football player he enrolled in college at The University of North Texas and earned a Bachelor's Degree in photojournalism. He found his niche in the graphic arts industry, a field that led him to travel the world extensively. Eddy met Tammie Palermo, his wife to be, in Dallas in 1984 and they married three years later on October 10, 1987. He and Tammie settled in Allen, Texas and have two beautiful daughters Sarah Rose and Isabella Grace. Eddy enjoyed quiet pleasures outdoors such as fishing, snow skiing, and a round of golf. Eddy and his family enjoyed time at the beach with a cold Red Stripe and company of good friends. He is survived by his loving wife Tammie, daughters Sarah Rose and Isabella Grace, parents Ed and Margaret Morris, sisters Susan Ann Pence and her husband Ron, Kathy Lloyd, sister in law Katy Palermo, brother in law Michael Palermo, aunt and uncle Thomas and Sue Crossland, nieces and nephews Kelsey Lloyd, Jennifer Pollono and her husband John, Sophia Pollono, Christian Pence, Tony Pence, Lisa Durr, cousins Sherrie Meketa, Ricky Crossland and Tommy Crossland. A memorial service to honor Edwin's life will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 3:30 PM at Christ Church Plano, 4550 Legacy Dr, Plano, Texas.
