Tommy Reckert

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Tommy grew up in Plano and was blessed to have many amazing family, friends, teachers and wonderful coaches and teammates. He stayed very active but his passion was hockey and physical fitness.
Tommy attended The University of Arkansas where he was a senior, majoring in finance and marketing. He was also an active member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
We will miss Tommy's sparkling green eyes and his dry sense of humor that was infectious. His life was cut short but the impact he made on so many of our lives will live on forever.
Tommy is survived by his father Frank Reckert and his wife Becky, mother Susan Reckert, sister Lauren Jesurun and her husband David, brother Danny Reckert, nieces and nephews Jade, Tyler and Carlie Jesurun, grandparents John and Gloria Reckert and Peter and Roberta DeVuono, aunts and uncles Karen Reckert, Kathy Reckert, John and Cindee Reckert, Mary and Lee Geller, Carey DeVuono, Rich and Lora DeVuono, Rebecca and Rick Maddalozzo and many loving cousins and friends. Tommy was preceded by uncle Paul Reckert.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Allen Family Funeral Options 2120 W. Spring Creek Pkwy Plano, Texas 75023. A funeral for Tommy will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at LifePoint Church 4501 Hedgcoxe Road Plano, Texas 75024. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Tommy's memory to Sigma Nu Fraternity Gamma Upsilon Chapter 260 North Stadium Drive Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701 or to LifePoint Church 4501 Hedgcoxe Road Plano, Texas 75024.
