Robert D Kroeger

At the age of 64, Robert D. Kroeger went to be with The Lord on March 7, 2011 after sudden death at his home.

Robert graduated from Immanuel Lutheran High School in Elmhurst, Illinois and then continued to Business College.

He had a contagious enthusiasm for living life to the fullest and was a joy to be around. His love of life was evident to all who met him. He had a sharp mind and quick wit that made him who he was.

Robert married johanna Kroeger, the love of his life in La Grange, Illinois and they raised children Sandra and Scott. With the dream of discovering a new life and career the Kroegers moved to Plano, Texas in 1982. He continued his insight to work with fiber-optic communications and was extremely devoted to the wonderful people that he worked with at Advanced connections located in Carrollton, Texas.

His strong christian values were evident in his everyday ways of being very kind and caring and believed in helping others. Robert always made a point to keep in touch with family and friends.

He enjoyed doing home improvements and loved to read in his free time. His brilliant mind and ways of communicating with others endeared him to all who knew him as a friend, father and husband.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Johanna, son Scottie Kroeger and his wife Kathy, daughter Sangra Kroeger, mother Norma Kroeger and sister Diane Kroeger. he was preceded in death by his father Elmer Kroeger.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options, Plano, Texas.

If desired, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family in their time of grief.
