James Manner

James Robert Manner, son of Robert James Manner & wife Marjorie was born on April 24, 1938 at Home, Pennsylvania.

Jim finished High School at Punxsutawney High School. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal of the Pennsylvania National Guard in May 1958.

After 34 years with BOC Compressed Gases, Jim retired in October 2004 from his position as Senior Regional Engineer.

Jim was a member of First Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas from 1995 to 2008. In September of 2008, he became a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano, Texas and remained until the present time.

Jim passed from this life into eternity on December 7, 2012 at his home in Dallas. He is survived by wife Rosanne Manner, children Dale Kevin Bennett (Helane), James Todd Manner, Trisha Keli Sizer, Aubrey Lane Manner (Emilie Redd), Jared Alexander Manner, Tonya Manner, grandchildren Dillon, Bryce, Davie and Victoria Bennett, Lindsey Manner, Shannon Collins, Meredith Sizer, Brian Jessie Manner, Tatiana Manner, sister Naomi Harrold and brother Don Manner.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Allen Family Funeral Options. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm in Faith Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas 75093. Jim will be laid to rest at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas at a private graveside service.

Jim's heart's desire was to please his Savior Jesus Christ and to serve Him with grace in all his endeavors.
