Philip Edward George

Philip lived his life to the fullest. He was selfless. He was always a shoulder for his friends to lean on or cry on, and a best buddy to laugh with and get into mischief with. Philip had big dreams and talked of them often with his family and with his friends. Sometimes his talks would take place in the wee hours of the morning, but to himwell.whatever it took! Philip had an abundance of emotional energy to spend, which came out usually in song. Sometimes it would be a pop song, others it was more hardcore where the lyrics were screamed through the rafters. Philip did everything with gusto and passion. Music was his number one passion as well as his therapy. Philip had an understanding of life and love that many of us who have been around much longer, will never have. He was so smart and wise beyond his years. In his final weeks, he would wonder what his legacy could possibly be being only 18 years old. He left an imprint on the lives of literally hundreds, probably thousands of people of all ages and all just by being authentic, selfless, and loving. That is his legacy.
Philip is survived by his mother and step dad Teresa and Allan Worth, father Stephen George, siblings Tori Morrow and Sheldon Worth, paternal grandparents Mary Jo George and Ross and Nancy Faulkner, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Philip was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Donald Monroe and Ruby Elizabeth Morrow, paternal grandfather Edward Nelson George and maternal aunt Kathy Themis.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Allen Family Funeral Options, Plano, Texas. A service to celebrate Philip's life will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Prosper United Methodist Church, 205 S. Church, Prosper, Texas with Rev. Christopher Schoolcraft officiating.
