Paula Ann Hollifield

Paula Ann (Powell) Hollifield, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Paula was born September 27, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a 1984 graduate of Boswell High School in Saginaw, a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University, and a 1997 Master's graduate at Southern Methodist University. Her residence was in Murphy, Texas. Her main passion in life was being a wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 23 years Kenneth Hollifield, sons Commerce, age 12, Gains, age 11, and Price, age 9, mother and father Travis and Wanda Powell of Saginaw, Texas, sister Shelly Norwood and husband Steve, brother, Ricky Powell and wife Kim, sister Connie Reed and husband Donnie, mother-in-law Mildred Hollifield of Waco, Texas, brother-in-law Larry Hollifield and wife Sheryl and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Paula was preceded in death by grandparents Audie and Hughie Powell, Josephine and Buck Pierce, uncle Jimmy Gatlin, aunt Betty Pierce, and aunt Barbara Malone. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Allen Family Funeral Options. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Rd., Plano, Texas 75023.
