John Morgan Crawford

Our beloved son, John Morgan Crawford, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012. John was born May 25, 1984 in Dallas, Texas to parents Russell N. and Suzanne M. Crawford who will forever cherish his memory.
John was a man of integrity, determination and honesty. He loved the Lord and he loved his family. His older brother Stephen was his hero and his sister Claire was the best sister any man ever had according to John. He loved and admired his brother Russ and prayed for him every day. Many of John's friends have written that his heart was too big for this world and that there was nothing better than a hug from John Crawford. His parents can also attest to that and will forever remember Friday night when John gave them and Keith (John's nephew) the best "Crawford hug" ever. John loved his friends and used to tell them that real men gave hugs. Russ Tackett, Julius Lee, Brandon Marshall, Chris and Michael Adcock, Todd Stewart, Jonathan Reeder, Taylor Adcock, Andrew Speese, Lacy Elkins, Christina Kennedy, Malorie Tackett meant the world to John and he loved them and many, many others.
John is survived by his parents Russell and Suzanne Crawford, brothers Stephen M Crawford and his wife Kelly, Russ Crawford, Jr. and his wife Kacee, sister Claire and her fiancé Bryan Lovelass and his most beloved nephew and buddy Keith, niece and nephew Chloe and Chase, grandmother Betty Russell Crawford and aunt Debbie Morgan Knox and her husband Joe, aunt Janet Crawford Nelson and her husband David, cousins Charlie and Greg Knox, Scott and Justin Nelson, Laura Crawford Lee, Misty Lee, Leslie Lee Kitrell and their families. John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Isaac Alvin and Claire Hansard Morgan and paternal grandfather Franklin Neil Crawford.
John will be laid to rest on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Grover Cemetery, Marshall, Texas (FM 968). There will be a memorial service to celebrate his life on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 12727 Hillcrest, Dallas, Texas 75230.
