Gary Elliott Willingham

Gary Elliott Willingham was born March 29, 1930 in Waco Texas. He went to rejoice with his Heavenly Father on December 24, 2011.

Gary was an amazing Dad, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and genuine love for his fellow man. He was also an exceptional Man of God. He held firm to his principle's and could accomplish almost anything he wanted. After owning several of his own businesses he chose to retire in Plano, Texas so that he could be closer to his children and grandchildren. During his life he devoted much of his time to family and spreading the word of God to others. He was an honest, loyal man who never knew a stranger and valued his relationships. Gary has left behind an amazing legacy, containing many people who love him dearly and will miss him very much.

Gary is survived by his daughters; Carlye Doran and husband Shane of Allen, Texas, Nicole Dawson and husband Matthew of Little Rock, Arkansas, Sydney Willingham and husband Jonathan of Allen, Texas and Sarah Bell and husband Earl of Allen, Texas. Along with his daughters are 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Alton, Bill, Jack, Ronald, T.J., and Kenny as well as his sisters Louella and Delaine.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.R. Willingham, mother Elizabeth Willingham, two brothers, C.W., and James and sister Phaildene.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Chase Oaks Church, 281 Legacy Drive Plano, Texas 75023 with Pastor Gary Faulkner officiating.
