Ehren Kuespert

December 4, 1978 — August 4, 2011

Ehren Michael Kuespert, 32, of Plano died Wednesday Aug. 4, 2011 at his home.

Born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Ehren was the first child of Karl and Deborah Ann Kuespert. The family moved to Germany when he was nine months old and then to Michigan when he was 4 yrs old. He grew up in Michigan and enjoyed the winters, playing sports, and participating in Boy Scouts. Ehren especially grew to love football at which he excelled. He was popular in school and in his neighborhood. After he graduated, he followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Army. He started his Army career in Fort Benning, Georgia, choosing to be in the Infantry. From there he went to Fort Campbell, Kentucky assigned to the 507th Air Assault Battalion, part of the 101st Airborne Division - the Screaming Eagles.

Ehren sustained injuries during his service in Ft Campbell and eventually was medically retired. He and his family relocated first to Lake City, Florida where he pursued a career as a restaurant manager and attended Lake City Community College to attain his degree in business. Later, he moved Ft. Lauderdale and then to Texas with his wife.

Ehren's first and greatest love was his family. His wife and children filled his heart and his commitment to them never faltered. He did his very best to be an excellent father, a devoted husband and a good son. Ehren enjoyed helping others and seemed to draw people to him. He had a great sense of humor, his quick wit was enjoyed by everyone and he loved playing practical jokes on friends and family. He had a gift of interacting with people of all ages, especially young people. His patience and interest in them brought out their best. He enjoyed drawing and creating things. He could fix anything around the house and was a talented craftsman.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 3 years, Jennifer Ann Kuespert, two sons Christian Cunningham of Cadiz, Kentucky, and Alexander Kuespert of Lake City, Florida, and a daughter Megan Kuespert of Lake City, Florida, his parents Karl and Sandy Kuespert of Columbus, Ohio and James and Deborah Ann Popoff of West Palm Beach, Florida and his siblings Jennifer Kuespert, Richard Kuespert and Ethan Kuespert, as well as a large extended family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Meadows Baptist Church, 3001 Los Rios Blvd., Plano, Texas 75074 with Dr. Scott Fenton officiating.
