Craig Collins

October 29, 1979 — September 18, 2011

Craig Ryan Collins was born on October 29, 1979 in Joplin, Missouri to Cliff and Lynda Collins. Craig was bright eyed and inquisitive right from the start.

Craig was adventurous and loved to be outdoors. He liked all kinds of sports; in grade school he played soccer, baseball and football. Craig was popular in school and was always surrounded with friends. Friendships were important to Craig and loyalty was one of his greatest virtues. Craig loved his family and family outings. Going camping, fishing, boating and snow skiing were some of his greatest joys. He loved exploring the outdoors and new places with his loved ones by his side. Craig had a true appreciation for scenic beauty.

Craig is a Christian, he was devoted to the lord and he tried to live each day with the Lord in his heart. Craig had an amazing smile, a big heart, and a kind soul. He accepted people's differences and welcomed uniqueness. He believed that we are all equally special and that the lord loves us each for who we are.

Craig was a devoted father; his precious son Cooper was his greatest joy. It was obvious to any who saw the two together how strong their bond was. Craig taught his son to love Jesus, and introduced him to church and worship. Whenever Cooper was with his daddy he would always say, "Daddy, are we going to go to church?"

Craig passed away on Sept 18th. He leaves behind his son Cooper Collins, loving parents Cliff and Lynda Collins of Plano,Texas, one Grandmother Marion Vido of Denver, Colorado, his brother and best friend Chad Collins & sister-in-law Heather Collins and two adoring nieces Riann and Kali Collins of Locust Grove, Oklahoma.
