Janice Geralyn Daugherty

Janice Geralyn Daugherty was born June 7, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Frederick and Joann (Schmitt) Crew.

Janice was married for 46 years to the love of her life, Mike. She was a proud mother of 3 boy and was blessed with many close friends as well. She was always outgoing and easy to talk to and was able to recall people, places and events with amazing clarity. She faced her many serious medical challenges with the ultimate of grace but was called home to be with her Lord on January 30, 2018.

Janice is survived by husband Mike Daugherty, sons Patrick, Darrell and Daniel Daugherty, father Fred Crew and his wife Johanna, mother Carol Rose, brothers Roy Rose, Fred Crew and Karl Crew, Robert Rumenapp, Richard Rumenapp, Gary Rumenapp and Mark Rumenapp, sister Mary Ellen McDonald, uncle Bill Rumenapp and many loving friends. She is preceded in death by sister Kathy Rose and aunt Dolores Rumenapp.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75023. Janice will be laid to rest at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Columbarium. A reception will follow at the parish hall.
