Stacy Gay Martin was born December 6, 1964 in Duncan, Oklahoma to parents Tommy and Latricia (Barrick) Rowlett.
Upon graduating from Duncan High School, Stacy began at Oklahoma Christian University, next transferred to her beloved Oklahoma State University. She moved on to graduate from American InterContinental University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Management in 2005.
While Stacy has held many titles in leadership positions in the professional world, the ones that were closest to her heart were first and foremost a Christian, daughter, wife, mother, and a loving Meme. Stacy enjoyed the beauty that God has created for us from the mountains, to the rolling hills, and the crashing of waves in the ocean. However, she received great joy in helping her friends and family….ANYTIME!!! Stacy had a mischievous sense of humor that would result in laughter not only from her, but for those around her as well. Stacy loved making those of us around her feel loved. She treated every stranger as a future friend. She NEVER allowed her circumstances to define her. She will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved her.
Stacy returned home for eternity to our Father in Heaven, on September 29, 2017.
She is survived by her husband Jason Martin, children Brad Hager (Jamie), Caity Hager, Carrie Martin, Kevin Martin, grandchildren, Kenzie, Braxton and one baby boy on the way, parents Tommy and Latricia Rowlett, brother Kent Rowlett (Nancy) and many additional extended family members and friends. Stacy was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and first husband Mike Hager, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bowen, Ernie Barrick and Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Rowlett.
A memorial service to celebrate Stacy's life will be held Saturday, October 7. 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Road, Plano, Texas 75023. Rev. Ed Washington, officiating. Family will receive friends following the service for visiting.
The family requests that if you plan to attend the service, please bring a letter or note, sharing with them the impact Stacy had on your life or a short story they may not know.
