Alicia Maria Garner

September 22, 1958 — November 12, 2018

Alicia Maria Agostini Garner, age 60, passed away in Dallas,Texas, on November 12, 2018, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Junction City, Kansas on September 22, 1958. She graduated from Cristobel High School in Coco Solo, Canal Zone where she met her soulmate of 41 years, Paul Raymond Garner, and they married on April 23, 1977. She was a devoted Catholic and was a bilingual lector at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie, TX.

Alicia’s pride and joy was her family; she devoted much of her time and energy as a selfless and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Alicia loved life and would light up any room with her vibrant personality and charisma. She loved immensely without expecting anything in return. She was very involved in the school district and very involved in the PTA - not only for her children, but also her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending her granddaughters’ sporting events and chasing around her youngest granddaughter. She had a servant’s heart, even in her career choices. She devoted many years to Garland ISD and Baylor Dallas NICU.

Alicia is preceded in death by her father, Rafael Felipe Agostini (Retired Sergeant Major). She is survived by her husband Paul Raymond Garner; daughter Jennifer Marie Garner; sons Phillip Raymond Garner and Ryan Paul Garner; daughter-in-law Ashley Garner; son-in-law Nicolas Panos; sisters Lili Youngblood and Chela Best; mother Alicia Agostini and her grandchildren Ashlyn Nicole, Brianna Elise, Nyha Kristen, Berkley Renee and her sister on the way.
