Madonna "Donna" Weaver was born on October 30, 1929 in Baileyville, Kansas to Bertha Josephine and John Joseph Nolte. She was the youngest of eleven children and graduated from Baileyville High School. She met the love of her life, Raymond Louis Weaver on New Year's Eve in 1951. Knowing they were meant to be together forever, they married on August 1st, 1953 in Baileyville. Their journey continued in Seneca where she was Deputy County Treasurer, until they moved to Topeka in 1954. Being a warm and caring couple, they invited her mother, Bertha, to live with them, where she shared the next 22 years as a part of the extraordinary journey. In 1959, Donna and Lou began Drink-O-Mat vending company, which they owned and operated for nearly 20 years. Over a period of six years, the couple welcomed four children, two girls and two boys, into their home and set about to provide a warm and wonderful childhood that included traveling and family camping, St. Bernard's, and many joyous family and friend celebrations. In 1977, Donna and Lou moved the family to Plano, Texas to provide increased opportunity for their children. Donna worked for the City of Plano Tax and Water offices. After retiring in 1993, they continued traveling, including visiting all 50 states.
Donna was an incredible daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She had a talent for giving inspiration and caring for those in most need. Her family has cherished memories of the witty sense of humor she always had with her. Donna always gave of herself and had the ability to persevere through any obstacle. Donna and Lou recently celebrated 61 beautiful years of marriage; a marriage that everyone who knew them aspired to achieve. Working side by side every day for many years, their closeness cannot be matched. They are a true example of "and the two shall become one." A devout Catholic, Donna let her faith help guide her life to do the Lords work and make this world a more glorious place.
